Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Inclusion criteria for depression group: (1) Adopting the Miniature International Neuropsychiatric Interview for Children and Adolescents (MINI Kid) in line with the diagnostic criteria for major depressive disorder in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-V); (2) Aged 13-18 years, Han nationality, primary school or above; (3) The revised version of the Children's Depression Rating Scale is >=40 points, and the 32-item hypomanic symptom list is less than 14 points to exclude bipolar disorder; (4) No antidepressant medication or psychological or physical therapy; (5) The patients themselves and their legal guardians have signed the informed consent form for this study. 2. Inclusion criteria of healthy control group: (1) No previous or current mental illness; (2) Aged 13-18 years, Han nationality, primary school or above; (3) Subjects and/or legal guardians voluntarily participate in this study, understand and sign the written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclusion criteria for depression group: (1) Severe heart, liver, kidney, endocrine, blood system, tumor, autoimmune and other internal diseases; (2) Past or current organic brain disease; (3) History of other serious mental disorders, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and mental retardation; (4) Past or current history of substance dependence or abuse; (5) Have a history of fluoxetine allergy in the past; (6) Those who have a history of serious suicide attempts in the past, or who currently have a high risk of suicide. 2. Exclusion criteria for healthy control group: (1) Subjects with severe or unstable physical disease; (2) Past or current organic brain disease; (3) Two-line and three-generation family history of mental illness.
