Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18 to 75 years, male or female; 2. Those who are considered as uncomplicated AA after comprehensive evaluation of clinical symptoms, signs, laboratory examinations, ultrasound/CT imaging examinations, etc.; the Alvarado score (including symptoms, signs, laboratory examinations, a total of 8 items, a 10-point scoring system) >= 5 points, imaging such as ultrasound/CT suggests acute uncomplicated AA; 3. The patients in the experimental group were unwilling to undergo surgical laparoscopic or open appendectomy; 4. No other serious diseases and comorbidities, able to tolerate colonoscopy and laparoscopic surgery; 5. Able to sign informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Those with severe heart and lung dysfunction, poor basic conditions, and unable to tolerate colonoscopy and laparoscopic/open surgery; 2. Patients with long-term use of hormones or patients with severe bleeding tendency receiving anticoagulation therapy; 3. Those who have no acute abdominal pain before surgery or who are accidentally discovered during colonoscopy; 4. Appendiceal necrosis, perforation, abscess formation around the appendix and signs of diffuse peritonitis; 5. Those with a history of intestinal diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease, intestinal tuberculosis, colorectal/ileocecal/appendix tumors; 6. Pregnant or lactating women; 7. Those who are not suitable for enrollment due to other factors.
