Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 35 to 80 years; 2. Chinese people living in China; 3. Untreated essential hypertension.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Participants with missing blood parameters, anthropometric indicators and/or blood pressure values; 2. Lack of basic information, such as gender, age, etc.; 3. Omission of other important information; 4. Use lipid-lowering drugs or uric acid-lowering drugs; 5. Hereditary dyslipidemia; 6. Peripheral vascular disease; 7. Patients with hereditary dyslipidemia, coronary heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, acute infection, tumor or other diseases; 8. Substance abuse, hyperthyroidism, stroke, heart failure, valvular heart disease, renal insufficiency or liver disease.
