Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Inclusion criteria for subjects without lumbar protrusion: (1) There is no protrusion, intervertebral space stenosis, no Mohs nodules, lumbar scoliosis, isthmus, or crack in the lumbar spine image; (2) Aged 18-55 years, regardless of gender; (3) No low back pain or neuromuscular disease within six months; (4) Those who voluntarily participated in this study and signed the informed consent. 2. Inclusion criteria for patients with lumbar disc herniation: (1) Meet the diagnostic criteria of ''Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines - Orthopedics Volume'', Chinese Medical Association, People's Health Publishing House (2009); (2) CT or MRI showed disc herniation; (3) Aged 18-65 years, gender is not limited; (4) Repeated low back pain for >= 3 months; (5) Those who have not received any other treatment options within the past 1 month; (6) Those who voluntarily participated in this study and signed the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclusion criteria for subjects without lumbar protrusion: (1) Mentally ill patients; (2) Pregnant or breastfeeding patients; (3) Those who are not suitable for MRI examination, such as those with cardiac pacemakers, nerve stimulators, metal foreign bodies (metal implants, contraceptive rings), insulin pumps, etc. 2. Exclusion criteria for subjects with lumbar protrusion: (1) Combined with other major diseases of the lumbar spine, such as tumors, tuberculosis, etc.; (2) Acute lumbar spine injury and pain caused by trauma and surgery; (3) Those with major diseases such as cardiovascular, lung, kidney, hematopoietic system; (4) Mentally ill patients; (5) Pregnant or breastfeeding patients; (6) Those with a history of spinal surgery; (7) Those who are not suitable for MRI examination, such as those with cardiac pacemakers, nerve stimulators, metal foreign bodies (metal implants, contraceptive rings), insulin pumps, etc.
