Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The pediatric patients aged 3 to 6 years and was diagnosed with severe early childhood caries (SECC) with complete clinical data. In the control group, children of the same age in the community without caries will be selected, and no obvious caries was found in oral examination; 2. No other interventional treatment has been received since the initial diagnosis; 3. No major systemic diseases and infectious diseases; 4. The pediatric patients' family members shall give informed consent to the children's condition and treatment plans (oral disease treatment under general or non-general anesthesia), and sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The pediatric patients are allergic to the materials used in the treatment 2. pediatric patients with systemic diseases, unable to stick to completing the test; 3. The child's guardian requests to withdraw by himself 4. The pediatric patient has participated in other clinical trials recently and has not yet passed the washout period.
