Inhalational anesthesia group:Inhaled anaesthetics (sevoflurane or desflurane) was administered during surgery

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Residents in Chengdu, aged >= 65 years; 2. Elective non cardiac, non neurosurgical elective surgery; 3. Patients with an anticipated anesthesia time over 2 hours.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of schizophrenia, epilepsy, Parkinson and so on; 2. Inability to communicate due to coma, severe dementia, speech impairment or critical illness; 3. ASA grade > III; 4. Previous history of malignant hyperthermia or propofol infusion syndrome; 5. Participated in other clinical trials 3 months prior to study enrollment.
