Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Within 6 months of diagnosis of incurable or advanced solid malignancies (locally advanced or metastatic); 2. Aged >= 18; 3. Clinic visit (oncology and geriatric palliative medicine outpatient clinics of of West China Hospital of Sichuan University); 4. Medical oncologist listed as the attending physician; 5. Oncology team only cohort (Cohort A): patients only visit the oncology clinic; 6. Oncology team and specialist palliative care cohort (Cohort B): patients visit the oncology clinic and the geriatric palliative medicine clinic on the same day.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Delirium (Memorial Delirium Assessment Scale [MDAS] >= 13/30); 2. Significant hearing impairment requiring multiple repetitions during the screening process.
