Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Meet the diagnostic criteria of ARDS and the time of mechanical ventilation should be more than 24h; 2.Patients who need continuous sedation are recommended according to the guidelines.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Pregnancy; 2.Aged < 18 years; 3.Unconsciousness; 4.History of alcohol and drug addiction or long-term hormone use; 5.Patients requiring neuromuscular blockade; 6.The mean arterial blood pressure was less than 55 mmHg and the mean heart rate was less than 55 beats / min; 7.Neuroendocrine diseases such as rheumatic immune diseases, amyloidosis and adrenocortical insufficiency; 8.The length of stay in ICU is less than 72 hours.
