Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The patient, aged 40 to 90 years, was clinically diagnosed with osteoporosis, lumbar spondylolisthesis, low back pain or numbness (MRI confirmed lumbar disc herniation and signs of nerve compression).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Previous cancer and received corticosteroid therapy; 2. Atrophy of cauda equina, progressive neurological deficit, malignant tumor; 3. Lumbar scoliosis and kyphosis greater than 15 degrees, previous back surgery and other established contraindications for elective surgery.
