Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Control group inclusion and exclusion criteria: 1. Aged 30-96 years; 2. Right-handed; 3. Normal cognition (MMSE > 24 and MoCA > 26). Inclusion criteria for the mild cognitive impairment group: 1. Aged 30-96 years; 2. Right-handed; 3. Normal cognition (9<MMSE<24 points or 14<MoCA<26 points); Inclusion criteria for the severe cognitive impairment group: 1. Aged 30-96 years; 2. Right-handed; 3. Severe cognitive impairment (MMSE < 9 points and MoCA < 14 points).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Those who are taking drugs that alter the excitability of the cerebral cortex (such as sedative-hypnotics, antidepressants).
