Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Those included were adult patients classified as American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) grade I-III planned for elective surgeries under general anaesthesia requiring endotracheal intubation whose age is between 18 and 75 old years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Restricted mouth opening, history of burns or airway damage, inability to stand or sit upright, edentulous, neck or face mass, limited neck mobility (eg, rheumatoid arthritis and cervical disc disease), pregnancy, stomach Patients with esophageal reflux disease, morbid obesity, inadequate fasting, or those requiring rapid sequential induction; 2. Patients requiring intubation methods other than conventional laryngoscopy, such as fiberoptic laryngoscope intubation and emergency surgery.
