18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Elective esophageal cancer surgery under general anesthesia with endobronchial intubation; 2. Aged 18-80 years; 3. ASA I-III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Obese (BMI >= 28 kg/m^2); 2. Contraindications of epidural block; 3. Severe kidney disease (glomerular filtration rate < 50 mL /min); 4. Serious liver disease (Child - Pugh, grade B or C); 5. History of myocardial infarction, heart failure, and respiratory failure; 6. Obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS); 7. History of spontaneous pneumothorax; 8. Neuromuscular diseases; 9. Respiratory infection within 1 month; 10. Cognitive dysfunction; 11. Failure to obtain informed consent.
