45 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 45 to 80 years, with carotid artery plaques in non-acute ischemic stroke; 2. Carotid plaque thickness more than 2 mm by identified by carotid Duplex ultrasound examination.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. There are contraindications of receiving ultrasound contrast agent intravenous administration, such as acute heart failure, unstable angina, acute endocarditis, known right-to-left shunt of heart, allergies to ultrasound contrast agent; 2. Patients with acute infection, liver and kidney insanity, combined tumors, acute myocardial infarction, connective tissue disease; 3. Contrast-enhanced ultrasound image acquisition cannot assess intraplaque neovascularization.
