Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >= 65 years; 2. Type 2 diabetes mellitus; 3. ASA II-IV; 4. Under elective abdominal surgery with general anesthesia; 5. The estimated surgery time is more than 2 hours; 6. Patients are agree to join in this research.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Emergent surgery; 2. Poor hearing or vision impeding cognitive assessment; 3. Language barrier impeding cognitive assessment; 4. Sedation or intubation; 5. Patients with traumatic brain injury; 6. History of schizophrenia; 7. With cognitive dysfunction; 8. Participate in other research.
