Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 5-14 years; 2. Mixed dentition; 3. Concave profile; 4. Cephalometric measurements: ANB < -2 degree, Pog'/zero meridian < -5 mm, Wits < -5 mm, Overjet < 0 mm; 5. Diagnosed as skeletal Class III malocclusion;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Inherited syndromes: achondroplasia, Downs syndrome etc.; 2. Congenital diseases that affect craniofacial development: cleft lip and palate, congenital syphilis, megatongue, etc.; 3. Congenital missing teeth (the number of missing teeth is greater than or equal to 3); 4. Impacted maxillary anterior teeth ((the number of impacted teeth is greater than or equal to 2); 5. History of maxillofacial trauma; 6. History of severe maxillofacial infection; 7. Systemic environmental factors: hormone imbalance and disorder, gigantism or pituitary adenoma, etc.; 8. Patients with systemic diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, osteoporosis, hepatitis B, HIV, syphilis, etc.; 9. Those who cannot cooperate to complete the treatment and follow-up.
