Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18-85 years, gender is not limited; 2. Patients undergoing cardiac surgery in Qilu Hospital of Shandong University from January to October 2021 under general anesthesia (tracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation); 3. ASA I-IV; 4. Clearly understand and voluntarily participate in the research, and sign the informed consent form by themself or their legal guardian.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with contraindications to general anesthesia; 2. Patients who have used sedative and analgesic drugs within 24 hours or narcotic drugs within 5 days, and benzodiazepine sleeping pills or opioid analgesics within the last 6 months; 3. Patients with craniocerebral injury, possible intracranial hypertension, cerebral aneurysm, history of cerebrovascular accident, and central nervous system diseases; mental system diseases (schizophrenia, mania, bipolar disorder, insanity, etc.), long-term history of taking psychotropic drugs and cognitive dysfunction; 4. History of drug abuse and alcohol abuse within 2 years prior to the beginning of the screening period. Alcohol abuse means drinking more than 2 units of alcohol per day on average (1 unit = 360 mL beer or 45 mL 40% alcohol white wine or 150 mL wine); 5. Pregnant or lactating women; 6. Allergic or contraindicated to benzodiazepines, opioids, propofol, etomidate, rocuronium, atropine and their components; 7. Patients diagnosed as having difficulty in respiratory management: Modified Mallampati score IV; 8. Participated in drug clinical trials as a subject within the last 3 months; 9. Patients deemed unsuitable for the trial by the investigator.
