Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Cranial CT or MRI must have an enlarged ventricular system (EI > 0.3); 2. There is a disproportionate expansion of hydrocephalus in the subarachnoid space; 3. At least clinically, gait instability or balance disorder is the main symptom, combined with cognitive decline and/or urinary incontinence; 4. There was no moderate or severe cortical atrophy, and only mild degree of white matter microangiopathopathy was accepted; 5. Agree to participate in the study and sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Secondary Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (sNPH) caused by secondary factors; 2. Nerve loss symptoms of other diseases lead to gait disorders; 3. Gait abnormalities caused by other skeletal motor system diseases; 4. Cognitive dysfunction and urinary and stool control disorders caused by other diseases; 5. Patients with severe spinal cord diseases were excluded because LPS shunt was not suitable.
