Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All patients aged 18 years or older who had thoracic surgeries at Nanjing Medical University Affiliated Wuxi Peoples Hospital.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Use of regional analgesic techniques other than PVB; 2. ASA physical status V and above; 3. Esophagectomies; 4. Missing data for the baseline characteristics.
