18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All aged over 18 years old, without primary pancreatic disease, with two or more high risk factors for exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (PEI), receiving enteral nutrition (including basic diet), and expected ICU (EICU or SICU) hospital stay >= 7 day in critically ill patients.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients in a long-term vegetative state; 2. Patients with end-stage tumors; 3. Patients with chronic wasting disease; 4. Patients with acute infectious diseases or mental illness; 5. Patients who refuse life support treatment although they have the ability to survive; 6. Pregnant or lactating women; 7. Inability to tolerate EN >= 3 days.
