20 Years to 50 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria of healthy control group: good oral hygiene, calculus index = 0, no swelling of gums, bleeding index 1, probing depth =4 mm, clinical attachment loss of >=1 mm, bleeding index >=2 mm, no periodontal treatment history for at least 6 months, continuous dentition except the third molar, and systemically healthy.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) use of anti-inflammatory drugs, antibiotics and immunosuppressants in the past 6 months; (2) systemic diseases that may interfere with the progression of periodontal diseases, such as diabetes and immune diseases; (3) Gingival lesions unrelated to plaque; (4) Use of orthodontic appliances; (5) Pregnancy and lactation; (6) Periodontal treatment in the past 6 months; (7) Continuous use of mouthwash containing antibacterial agent in the past 2 months; (8) Smoking; (9) The surface of attached gingiva and mucosa was stained.
