18 Years to 45 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult MTD patients aged 18-45 years; 2. The amount of arch expansion >= 5mm; 3. The bilateral maxillary first premolars and first molars have no missing or large-area defects, and the periodontal condition is good, and the expansion device can be bonded; 4. No systemic disease, no maxillofacial developmental deformity, no restricted mouth opening; 5. No history of maxillofacial trauma or orthognathic surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with pathological damage to the jaw; 2. Patients with fractures or large-area defects of the hard palate, and patients with cleft lip and palate; 3. Patients with severe temporomandibular joint disease; 4. Patients with metal allergy; 5. Pregnant and lactating patients; 6. Depression, anxiety and other mental illness patients; 7. Patients with other contraindications to surgery.
