Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) diagnosed of CRC and had a permanent stoma with stable postoperative conditions and no serious complications; (2) aged at least 18 years old; (3) Be able to speak, read and write Chinese; (4) Be willing to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) had a known history of, or currently had psychiatric disorders; (2) suffered from other metastatic cancer and/or other severe physical disorders; (3) had participated in the past year in any type of group or individual psychological intervention.
