18 Years to 40 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient aged 18 to 40 years who can accept the Piezocision assisted orthodontic treatment; 2. Adequate dental oral health(i.e., the absence of periodontal diseases, periapical infection or untreated caries); 3. Minimal to moderate maxillary and mandibular crowding at baseline; 4. Adult patients with completed growth based on the cervical vertebral maturation method.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with systematic disease; 2. The absence of bone island, cementoma, apical cyst, root resorption and root exposure in tooth movement area; 3. Gingival recession > 2 mm; 4. Smokers; 5. Altered bone metabolism(e.g., antiresorptive drug, steriod, or immunosuppressant use); 6. Mental or motor disabilities; 7. Pregnancy.
