Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Atrial fibrillation group: (1) Patients with atrial fibrillation confirmed by electrocardiogram or 24h Holter; (2) Agreed to undergo radiofrequency ablation for atrial fibrillation; (3) Agreed to sign the informed consent form for this study. Control group: (1) Patients treated with the cardiology department of our hospital; (2) Agreed to sign the informed consent form for this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Atrial fibrillation group: (1) Aged < 18 years; (2) Patients with thrombus in left atrial appendage confirmed by preoperative TEE or CCT; (3) Patients with stroke in recent 3 months; (4) Patients with severe heart failure (NYHA IV), severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, valvular heart disease, etc.. Control group: (1) Aged < 18 years; (2) Patients with atrial fibrillation confirmed by electrocardiogram or 24h Holter; (3) Patients with severe heart failure (NYHA IV) and valvular heart disease, etc.
