Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >=18 years; 2. Hospitalized for thoracic, abdominal or nervous system surgery from July 1, 2015 to November 30, 2017; 3. Complete information on surgery and anesthesia; 4. Receiving intravenous ambroxol alone or nebulized NAC alone for >=3 days during hospitalization.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who have not undergone substantial surgery; 2. Patients who use other expectorants in combination in any form.
