Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) subjects in the ADHD group require a diangosis of ADHD: All participants and their parents were interviewed by a clinician using a semi-structured tool, that is the Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia for school-Age Children-Present and Lifetime version (K-SADS-PL); 2)Control group:K-SADS-PL was adopted to rule out any potential psychiatric disorder; 3) aged 7-11 years;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any the following conditions would lead to exclusion: 1) a diagnosis of schizophrenia, affective disorder, Tourette syndrome, pervasive developmental disorder, or intellectual disability; 2) history of head injury with loss of consciousness; 3) neurological abnormalities; 4) drug or substance abuse; 5) a full-scale IQ below 70.
