Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Critically ill patients that admit into ICU of the first affiliate hospital of Wenzhou Medical University. Septic patients were identified byu the American College of Chest Physicians/Society of Critical Care Medicine Consensus Criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with immunosuppressive diseases including tumors or HIV infection, or patients undergoing immunosuppressive therapy; 2. Patients with secondary sepsis in the ICU.
