Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients over 65 years of age; 2.American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I to III; 3.An initial hip replacement will be performed under spinal anesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients unable to walk independently prior to injury; 2.Fractures in other parts; 3.Neurological diseases (for example, Alzheimer's disease or dementia); 4.Contraindications to regional anesthesia (for example, local infection, coagulation abnormalities, or patient refusal); 5.Patients known to be allergic to the study drug.
