Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with sequelae of poliomyelitis who received primary total hip replacement on the paralyzed side from January 2008 to January 2020 in the Department of Orthopedics, West China Hospital of Sichuan University and the Department of Orthopedics, Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine; 2. Follow-up time >= 2 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who underwent hip revision surgery this time; 2. Patients with other neuromuscular diseases at the same time; 3. Patients with sequelae of poliomyelitis who received total hip replacement on the non-paralyzed side this time; 4. Patients with muscle strength of the affected side less than grade 3; 5. Patients with poor general condition and unable to tolerate anesthesia and surgery. The surgical indications for total hip arthroplasty are: pain and dysfunction of the affected hip joint, and conservative treatment is ineffective, which affects the patient's normal life.
