Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-85 years; 2. Patients with inguinal hernia confirmed by physical examination or inguinal color Doppler ultrasound; 3. The inguinal hernia was confirmed as indirect hernia during operation, and the Gilbert classification (1988) was type II or type III (the hernia ring defect was not less than one finger), and the length of hernia sac was confirmed to be greater than 3cm during operation; 4. Adequate organ function; 5. Patients or family members who can understand the study protocol and are willing to participate in the study and provide written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with recurrent hernia, incarcerated hernia and strangulated hernia; 2. Patients with intestinal obstruction, intestinal perforation and intestinal bleeding requiring emergency surgical resection; 3. ASA class IV or V; 4. Serious mental illness; 5. Patients with severe emphysema, interstitial pneumonia or ischemic heart disease who cannot tolerate surgery; 6. Patients had contraindications to laparoscopic surgery.
