18 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Eligible participants are over 18 years old and diagnosed with acute cerebrovascular disease according to World Health Organization criteria. 2. Stroke attack within 24 hours.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Vascular malformations, tumors, abscesses, or other major non-ischemic brain diseases (eg, multiple sclerosis) diagnosed by CT or MRI. 2. Coma (Glasgow Coma Scale score <8). 3. Severe heart failure. 4. Myocardial infarction or unstable angina pectoris within the past 3 months. 5. Acute renal failure. 6. Inability to understand and/or follow research procedures due to mental, cognitive or emotional impairments. 7. Unable to attend follow-up examinations (eg, unable to go to the hospital where the examination was performed). 8. Failure to obtain informed consent from participants.
