Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >= 50 years; 2. The presence of at least one of the following vascular risk factors for atherosclerosis: smoking (10 cigarettes per day, smoking age >=10 years), BMI > 28, hypertension, diabetes, impaired fasting blood glucose or abnormal glucose tolerance, Hyperlipidemia, hyperhomocysteinemia, coronary heart disease, symptomatic stroke; 3. The presence of at least one of the following common acute or chronic clinical symptoms (syndromes) of cerebral small vessel disease: TIA, acute lacunar syndrome (pure motor hemiparesis, pure sensory stroke, ataxia hemiparesis, sensorimotor stroke, dysarthria-clumsy hand syndrome, etc.), cognitive decline, gait or postural balance disorders, vascular parkinsonism, mental or emotional disorders (anxiety, depression, etc.), sleep disorders, urination sphincter dysfunction; 4. For the presence of anatomically related responsible lesions on MRI of acute symptoms, DWI indicates that the lesion is less than 20mm (axial), and T1, T2 or FLAIR indicates that the lesion is 3-15mm in the non-acute phase; 5. Without obvious clinical symptoms, imaging examination with lacunar lesions (<=15mm) with leukoaraiosis or two or more common imaging features of CSVD (microbleeding, enlarged perivascular space) can also be included.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. More than 50% stenosis of intracranial and extracranial arteries or previous carotid endarterectomy; 2. (very) likely cardiac stroke suggested by TOAST classification; 3. Cortical infarcts or subcortical infarcts greater than 1.5 cm in diameter on MRI (non-acute phase); white matter hyperintensity caused by other diseases such as multiple sclerosis or leukodystrophy; 4. According to MRI diagnosis combined with hemorrhage or other pathological brain diseases (brain trauma, epilepsy, encephalitis, hydrocephalus, brain tumor) and other central nervous system diseases; other systemic diseases (liver and kidney insufficiency, tumors, etc.); 5. Those with a history of alcoholism, drug addiction, or a history of mental illness or physical disability (including severe aphasia) who cannot cooperate.
