Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Consecutive patients who sought treatment for smear-positive,culture-positive,gene chip-proved or IVCM-proved corneal ulcers with visual acuity of 20/80 (0.54 logarithm of the minimum angle of resolution [logMAR]) or worse were screened. 2. Understand and agree to the treatment protocol in the trial, be willing to accept hospitalization, and be able to follow up.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Evidence of concomitant infection with herpes or bacteria. 2. Impending or frank perforation or limbal involvement. 3. Ageyounger than 18 years or older than 80 years. 4. Corneal scarring is indistinguishable from corneal ulcer. 5. In pregnancy or lactation. 6. Allergy to the drug used. 7. The eye had undergone a corneal transplant.
