Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult male or female over the age of 18 years; 2. Patients diagnosed with chronic periodontitis according to the new classification of periodontal disease in 1999; 3. The subject has fully erupted teeth >= 18; 4. The subject has at least 4 sites in at least 2 quadrants of the oral cavity with a periodontal pocket depth of 6-9mm; 5. Have not received any periodontal treatment within half a year, and have not taken any antibiotics within the past 1 month; 6. The subjects are willing to sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant or breastfeeding patients, or those planning to become pregnant within 6 months; 2. It is forbidden for those who wear a pacemaker or have serious primary diseases such as heart, brain, liver, kidney or immune system; 3. Patients with any kind of malignant tumor; 4. Patients with chronic diseases or poor psychological endurance and poor compliance; 5. Suffering from any disease (acute or chronic), or is being treated with drugs for oral manifestations that the investigator believes will interfere with the safety or efficacy of PerioWave; 6. Patients with active apical abscess or periodontal abscess; or a history of acute necrotizing ulcerative periodontal disease; 7. Those who have taken antibiotics within 1 month before the start of the study, or those who have any systemic disease (heart disease, joint replacement, etc.) who need to take antibiotics throughout the course of treatment; 8. Known allergic to methylene blue; 9.6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency; 10. Those who have taken anticoagulant drugs regularly in the past 3 months; 11. Those who have used photosensitive drugs in the past 3 months.
