Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Medically healthy adult, aged >= 18 years; and written informed consent; 2. Hopeless single anterior tooth with neighboring teeth on the mesial and distal; single immediate implant in the maxilla esthetic zone; 3. Adequate bone height apically to the alveolus of the failing tooth; 4. Periodontal health of remaining teeth.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Under-controlled periodontitis; 2. Patient who is pregnant, intending to conceive or breast feeding; 3. History of head and neck radiotherapy; 4. 5-year history of chemotherapy; 5. Systemic or local diseases that may affect osseointegration; 6. History of oral or intravenous bisphosphate; 7. Smoking more than 10 cigarettes/day.
