Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.The selected patients are IBD patients diagnosed in the outpatient department of Gastroenterology Department of the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University. They are diagnosed according to the Lennard-Jones criteria, and are classified according to the Monteria criteria; 2.With the use of Azathioprine(AZA,trade name:Imuran,Imuran,GlaxoSmithKline,sweden) or 6-mercaptopurine (6-MP, trade name:Le Jining,Puri-Nethol,GlaxoSmithKline,Sweden), with a clear history of treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Children younger than 12 years old, or elderly older than 75 years old, 2.Pregnant women and lactating women; 3.Have a history of blood transfusion within 12 weeks before enrollment; 4.Use antimetabolic immunosuppressant such as methotrexate or mycophenolate within 4 weeks before enrollment; 5.Patients used immunosuppressants such as cyclosporine or tacrolimus within 12 weeks before enrollment; 6.Combined use of drugs that affect TPMT enzyme activity such as allopurinol or diuretics; 7.Combined patients with sepsis or immediate surgery; 8.Patients with significant lung, kidney, liver, heart, blood or nervous system abnormalities.
