Control group:The drug 0.375% ropivacaine 20ml was used for brachial plexus block
Test group 1:The drug used was 0.375% ropivacaine 20ml+10mg dexamethasone for brachial plexus block
Test group 2:The drug 0.375% ropivacaine 28ml was used for brachial plexus block

18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Aged 18 to 80 years; 2.ASA I - III level; 3.Subjects undergoing orthopedic surgery with elective open reduction and internal fixation for upper extremity fractures; 4.Voluntarily participate and sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Preoperative complicated peripheral nerve injury or lesion; 2.Long-term oral painkillers for chronic pain; 3.Severe compound trauma; 4.Pregnant women; 5.A history of steroid use during the two weeks of the study; 6.There are contraindications to regional block; 7.Constrainations to dexamethasone (mental health disorders, cataracts, glaucoma, bacteraemia and systemic fungal infections, peptic ulcer disease, viral infections such as herpes or recent live vaccines); 8.Diabetic patients with a history of allergy to the study drug; 9.The wound is infected.
