Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Paroxysmal atrial tachycardia group: age >= 18 years; baseline dynamic electrocardiogram clearly shows paroxysmal atrial tachycardia; 2. Control group: age >= 18 years; no paroxysmal atrial tachycardia on baseline dynamic electrocardiogram.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients were excluded if they had documented AF/AFL or AF/AFL diagnosed during 24 h ECG monitoring, high-grade atrio-ventricular block, sustained supraventricular tachycardia >30 s, frequent premature ventricular complexes (burden >=15%), ventricular tachycardia (VT), ventricular fibrillation (VF), chronic rheumatic heart disease, severe mitral stenosis, acute heart failure, cardiomyopathy, inherited arrhythmia syndrome, use of oral anticoagulants (OAC), history of malignancy, acute myocardial infarction or stroke in acute stage before this study enrollment.
