Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Select neonates hospitalized in the Neonatal Diagnosis and Treatment Center of the Children's Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University from 2019 to 2021 as the research objects; 2. Gestational age < 34 weeks; 3. Birth weight <1 500 g; 4. Admission age < 72 hours; 5. According to the presence or absence of ROP, the neonates were divided into ROP group and non-ROP group according to the ratio of 1:3. Matching criteria for the two groups of patients: (1) The gestational age difference is less than or equal to 3 days; (2) Birth weight difference <= 130 g.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Those who cannot obtain birth weight, gestational age and other information under special circumstances such as abandoned children and adoptions, resulting in incomplete medical records; 2. Unsuccessful pairing; 3. Hospitalization time < 7 days.
