Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >=18 years; 2. Imaging examination showed the presence of carotid plaque.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with previous ischemic stroke; 2. Patients with previous cerebrovascular disease, brain tumor, cerebral hemorrhage and other diseases; 3. Patients with carotid artery occlusion; 4. Patients with previous carotid artery stenting (CAS) and carotid endarterectomy (CEA); 5. Patients with contraindications to the use of gadolinium contrast agents; 6. Patients with severe hepatic and renal insufficiency.
