Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. aged between 18 and 80 years old; 2. meet the following five conditions: (1) patients with advanced solid cancer; (2) atients meeting grade 4 of the mMRC; (3) the curative treatment was not effective and palliative care was accepted; (4) Respiratory rate >30 times/min; (5) Oxygen index < 1:250. 3. Signed the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients were intolerant, irritable and uncooperative; 2. invasive assisted ventilation was needed for exacerbation of the disease; 3. patients abandoned treatment; 4. duration of hospital stay < 3d.
