Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Experimental group: 1. Aged >= 18 years old; 2. There are corresponding symptoms in the eyes: fatigue, secretion, foreign body sensation, dryness, discomfort, stickiness, pain, tearing, itching, redness, heaviness, glare and other symptoms; 3. One of the following changes in the eyelid margin: congestion of the eyelid margin, irregularity, thickening or blunting of the eyelid margin, obstruction of the opening of the meibomian gland or formation of a fat plug, and displacement of the mucocutaneous conjunctiva junction (MCJ); 4. The patient complained of symptoms for at least 6 months; 5. Able to pass and be willing to participate in all experimental evaluations and visits as directed; 6. Sign the written informed consent. Control group: History of Meibomian gland dysfunction, contact lens wearing history, conjunctivitis, dry eye, history of chronic eye infection, no local or systemic lesions affecting tear film formation and function, slit lamp examination of palpebral conjunctiva and meibomian gland openings Obvious abnormality at the eyelid margin, obvious abnormality in the eyelid margin, chief complaint of eye discomfort.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Ocular factors: history of eye allergy, history of wearing contact lenses, history of eye surgery and trauma, history of eye infection with Demodex follicle; 2. Systemic diseases: exclude Parkinson's disease, diseases affecting sebaceous gland secretion (such as atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, rosacea, etc.), psoriasis, menopausal syndrome, ectodermal dysplasia, androgen deficiency, Benign prostatic hyperplasia, pemphigoid, complete androgen resistance syndrome, systemic lupus erythematosus, polycystic ovary, hypertension and Turner syndrome, metabolic disorders and other diseases; 3. Medication history: exclude the history of continuous use of eye drops, isotretinoin (13-cis retinoic acid), anti-androgens, antidepressants, antihistamines, drugs for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, omega-3 fatty acids, menopause History of drug use after hormone therapy, etc.
