Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: GIST was classified under the high-risk of recurrence category based on the modified National Institutes of Health (NIH) criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with metastatic, inoperable, or recurrent GIST, and administration of imatinib preoperatively for GIST.
