Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meet the diagnostic criteria for diabetes; 2. Meet the diagnostic criteria for diabetic peripheral neuropathy, 3. Age 18~75 years old, gender is not limited; 4. Blood pressure is effectively controlled at <=140/90mmHg; 5. Glycated hemoglobin<=9%; 6. Sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Take antibiotics, steroid hormones, intestinal flora drugs, etc. 3-6 months before sampling; 2. Received chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgery; 3. Patients with liver failure and/or a history of hepatic encephalopathy; 4. Patients with malignant tumors or malignant diseases that affect the overall prognosis; 5. Triglyceride>=5.7mmol/L; 6. Pregnant and lactating women; 7. Those who are allergic to lipoic acid; 8. People who are addicted to alcohol or drugs; 9. Participating in another clinical investigator.
