Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Inclusion criteria for subjects with necrotizing soft tissue infection (NSTI) (high clinical suspicion of NSTI + surgical incision): (1) High clinical suspicion of NSTI: 1) Laboratory indicator risk prediction (LRINEC): NSTI should be suspected with a score of 6 to 8, and a score >= 8 is highly predictive of NSTI. 2) Positive finger test: the diseased fascia is no longer closely attached to the adjacent tissue layer, and the operator's finger is easy to slide along the fascia plane. (2) Surgical incision: gray-white necrotic tissue, fascial edema, thrombosis, foul-smelling exudate, watery exudate, no muscle contraction, and easy separation of superficial and superficial fascia all indicate subcutaneous tissue necrosis. 2. Non-NSTI inclusion criteria: subjects with skin/soft tissue infection who do not meet the NSTI criteria. 3. Enrollment criteria for healthy subjects: age matched with NSTI and non-NSTI, no diabetes, hypertension, coronary heart disease, tumor, liver, kidney and autoimmune diseases and other diseases.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Aged < 18 years; 2. Patients with hospital stay less than 12 hours and incomplete clinical data; 3. Patients unwilling to sign informed consent.
