Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: test group: 1. For newborns with brain injury who were admitted to the Pediatric Neonatal Ward of Peking University First Hospital from Jan. 2008 to Oct.2020, the diagnostic criteria are based on MRI (10-14 days after birth) as the core, combined with the comprehensive diagnosis of medical history, clinical symptoms and signs , including neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, intracranial hemorrhage, neonatal stroke, neonatal hypoglycemic brain injury, bilirubin brain injury, metabolic encephalopathy; 2. All children should complete the aEEG examination within 24 hours after admission, and the examination time should be at least 2 hours; Control group: 1. All neonates without brain injury during the same period; 2. The aEEG examination should be completed within 24 hours after admission, and the examination time should be at least 2 hours.
