Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing major laparoscopic abdominal surgery under elective general anesthesia (eg, gastrointestinal and gynecological surgery); 2. ASA classification II or III; 3. Gender is not limited; 4. Aged 60 to 75 years, height 155-180 cm, weight 50-75 kg; 5. The operation is expected to last for 2 hours or longer; 6. The patient has no severe hearing and visual impairment and can read.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Serious diseases of cardiovascular, respiratory, liver, kidney or central nervous system, life expectancy is less than 3 months; 2. The score of simple mental state examination is less than 23 points; 3. A history of dementia or mental illness; 4. Current use of sedatives, antidepressants or corticosteroids; 5. Alcoholism and drug dependence; 6. Previously selected for this study; 7. Difficulty in follow-up or poor compliance; 8. Uncontrolled hypertension (over 180/100 mmHg).
