Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Peripheral blood thalassemia group: genetic diagnosis of thalassemia; 2. Peripheral blood control group: healthy subjects with normal genetic diagnosis; 3. Placental thalassemia group: The results of fetal placental thalassemia gene detection indicated thalassaemia; 4. Placenta control group: No abnormality was found in the thalassemia gene detected in placental villi after termination of pregnancy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Peripheral blood: suffering from other types of blood diseases, other medical diseases such as blood system and metabolic diseases not related to thalassemia, pregnancy, etc.; 2. Placenta: other fetal malformations or genetic diseases, such as neural tube defects, chromosomal abnormalities, ß-thalassemia, immune edema, etc.; pregnant women suffering from other types of genetic diseases, pregnant women with pregnancy complications and complications that may affect placental function or adverse exposure history, such as gestational diabetes mellitus, intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy, smoking, etc.
