Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 60 to 80 years; 2. Patients with primary hypertension of grade 1-2 with a medical history of 5 years or more; 3. In line with TCM syndrome of yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity; 4. The renal function is in line with: referring to the latest classification of chronic kidney disease proposed by KDIGO in 2012, the glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) >=60ml/(min·1.73m2) and the urine albumin/urine creatinine ratio ( UACR) 30-300mg/g; 5. ARB or combined CCB drugs can reduce blood pressure to meet the requirements, systolic blood pressure (SBP) <= 140mmHg and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) <= 90mmHg; 6. Sign the informed consent for entry into the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Secondary hypertension; 2. Other Chinese and Western medicines for the treatment of essential hypertension have been used after the onset; 3. Have serious primary heart, liver, lung, kidney, blood or serious diseases affecting their survival, such as acute myocardial infarction, stroke, heart failure grade IV, malignant arrhythmia; 4. Patients with clear contraindications to the use of ARBs or CCBs; 5. Liver function (AST or ALT) is greater than 2 times the normal value; 6. Patients with a history of mental illness or legal disabilities, or those with intellectual or behavioral disabilities who cannot give fully informed consent; 7. Suspect or have a history of alcohol or drug abuse; 8. According to the judgment of the researcher, other diseases that reduce the possibility of enrolling or complicate enrollment, such as frequent changes in the working environment, are likely to cause loss to follow-up; 9. Allergic constitution, such as those with a history of allergies to two or more drugs or food; or those who are known to be allergic to the ingredients of this medicine; 10. Patients who are participating in clinical trials of other drugs.
