18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Liver cirrhosis patients diagnosed with esophageal varices under endoscopy; 2. Active esophageal varices bleeding or previous esophageal varices bleeding.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Aged 80 years; 2. Poor general health, including multiple organ failure, hepatic encephalopathy grades III and IV, and malignant tumors other than hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) that meet the Milan criteria; 3. Past history of EIS, EVL, TIPS treatment or liver transplantation; 4. Hypersensitivity to the hardener used in the study (Polycynyl alcohol; Tianyu, Xi'an).
